With so much sickness going around, I wanted to share what I keep in my semi-holistic medicine cabinet! I say “semi” because I have a mix of holistic and western medicines because I believe both have their place. My priority is always doing what’s best for my family’s health.
I Have Trust Issues When It Comes To Western Medicine
A little backstory—when I was 8 years old, I was diagnosed with leukemia. The journey to that diagnosis was tough. I was misdiagnosed for nearly six months until a family friend, who’s a naturopathic doctor, discovered something was seriously wrong. My parents sought a second opinion, and it was confirmed. I was immediately hospitalized, and life changed forever.
Fast forward to today… I’m cancer-free (praise God!), healthy, and a mom of three. Now, I’m doing my best to care for my family and hopefully help you do the same!
Let’s Get Down To Business – What’s in my semi-holistic medicine cabinet!
So, without further ado, here is the list of medicines I keep in my semi-holistic medicine cabinet! There is no gate-keeping here you guys.
Earthley Wellness

Zarbees Cough Medicine
Borion

Genexa
Zicam
(literally the BEST nasal spray ever! I’ve converted multiple family members to this spray already!)

Bee Keepers Natural

That’s pretty much everything I keep on hand! I also like to have bone broth stocked up—it’s perfect for making quick, nourishing soups when the kids aren’t feeling well. It’s soothing, easy on the stomach, and packed with nutrients to support recovery.
Of course, there are so many other great options for boosting your family’s wellness. If you’re interested in more holistic or conventional remedies to have on hand, let me know! I’d love to share more ideas to help you feel prepared during sick seasons.
